This film is a gem and invaluable to fans of the great Marlene Dietrich as it is a window into the fascinating life of this amazing woman. She still has the same sharp wit and reflects on everything from her films to penis envy (look it up on youtube if you don’t believe me). The only “problem” (I use the word lightly) is following Ms. Dietrich when she is switching languages (French to German to English etc.), however subtitles are provided. “Marlene” is a must see for not only fans but anyone who is interested in German and classic cinema!
