Synopsis
When his fiancée (Bingbing Fan) is tragically killed, the heartbroken Junchu (Leon Lai) heeds his mother’s advice and marries a virtual stranger (Rene Liu) he doesn’t love. But his problems only deepen when his new bride strikes a deal with the spirit of his former flame. Hua-Tao Teng directs this haunting Tribeca Film Festival selection, an unconventional ghost story set amid the glamour of 1920s Shanghai.
