I believe there’s a moment in time when you watch something and it completely changes the way you view films and the art of film-making. For me it was the year 2003 when in USA, my cousin showed me Meshes of the Afternoon. I can still remember the shivers that ran down my spine while watching this haunting yet compelling short film by Maya Deren. I can’t put to words what a masterpiece this short film is, you need to see it to experience it.
