Waters in waiting. Some great scenes and notions - the cavalcade, the rosary job, Divine's Godzilla-like rampage - but a shoddy whole, missing the more focused trajectory of 'Flamingos and 'Trouble. This feels more like a director finding his feet and a series of short films laced together. However, the mighty sight of Divine chasseing down the street is a gem of anti-glam.
