My Louisiana Sky

Newcomer Kelsey Keel stars in this touching coming-of-age drama directed by Adam Arkin. Tiger Ann (Keel) is a 12-year-old girl in 1950s Louisiana who’s coming to terms with living with mentally handicapped parents. Old enough now to realize the gravity of the situation, she struggles to cope with these unsettling revelations. Her lively aunt (Juliette Lewis) soon comes to the rescue, helping to ease both Tiger Ann’s mind and her parents’ burden.
