By the age of three, the youngster was appearing as part of his parents act whenever they could evade child labor laws. In vaudeville, Keaton developed remarkable talents as an acrobatic comedian with a superb sense of timing, and became a rising star by his teens. Wedded bliss is not on the agenda when a misunderstanding leads to marriage for Buster to a less than ideal partner. Matters worsen when his wife takes him home to meet the in-law's, including her bruiser brothers, and a further misunderstanding leads them to believe that The Great Stone Face has inherited a large amount of money.. Not one of Keaton's best shorts but there are still plenty of good laughs to be had...

Weak vehicle for Keaton that at even a limited running time is too long.

Language barriers cause the accidental marriage of Buster Keaton to an overbearing bootlegger, whose family of hulking roughnecks make him the target of their constant derision, that is until they mistakenly think he is a wealthy heir. Made as a lampoon of his own in-laws, MY WIFE'S RELATIONS isn't Keaton's strongest, but it certainly has its charms. Watch for reused sets from THE HAUNTED HOUSE.
