Worthy to watch because of Scorcese and Allen's stories. Coppola's story is absolutely embarassing.

By far, Scorsese's contribution is the most watchable and shaken alive out of all of the other segments.

The Allen segment was legendarily lame, the Scorsese well-acted but terribly trite. Only Coppola's worked in a prissy Salingerian sense.

Only Woody could make this movie worth watching.

The best segments were 3. Woody Allen segment 2. Woody Allen segment 1. Woody Allen segment. What was Francis thinking?

Woody Allen's segment saved this film. Funny, humorous, city-themed, and personal. Just like anybody's experience in the big apple. I liked Coppola's segment as well. But the acting was not that good. Scorsese's "speech" was lame, and I am so sorry to say that.

Martin Scorcese's "Life Lessons" is incredible. The Woody Allen segment is pretty good too. The Francis Ford Coppola segment is awful.

Scorsese's "Life Lessons" is an amazing piece. Too bad the other two aren't up to its level.

I love the Woody Allen one. Mae Questel is by far my favorite little old lady actress!

LIFE LESSONS is one of Scorsese's finest films. LIFE WITHOUT ZOE is an embarassment, one of Coppola's lowest points. OEDIPUS WRECKS has some amusement value, as you get to watch the sublime Julie Kavner wipe up the screen with Woody Allen.

Life Lessons by Martin Scorsese is magnificent. Nick Nolte makes a powerful performance and the use of the music is fantastic (nessum dorma, white shade of pale, Conquistador, like a Rolling Stone) and the brilliant work of Nestor Almendros, of course.

Scorsese's segment is the best, great story, cinematography and acting. Allen's one is pretty charming and funny, but Coppola knocks down the show with a worthless piece of childish crap.
