Whilst undeniably a fine film i actually liked the remake better, mainly due to some unneccessary scenes in the original such as the racist scene in the bar, something i supposse you come to expect from the 'open and free' Danish society. Having said that a very good watchable movie.
Having to watch its remake before the original in highschool and thought it was an awesome film, specially I was very into Mcgreggor those days (til now, but specially those days), I found this original version is the best, although much less prettier girls casted. As usual, no need for a remake!
