Nobody Knows Anybody

Simón (Eduardo Noriega), a crossword-puzzle writer, receives a cryptic message threatening him with death if certain words don’t appear in his puzzles. His soon starts to believe that he’s an unwitting player in a cruel game masterminded by shadowy figures. After all, it’s Holy Week in Seville, a time when hooded, starkly dressed supplicants recall the Spanish legacy of secret societies and hidden networks of power.
