North of Chiang Mai

While on a trip to Vietnam, an American businessman (Sam Bottoms) becomes embroiled in a weird scandal and hastily escapes across the border to Thailand, where he stumbles into unexpected adventures involving romance, betrayal and grave danger. John D. Lamond (Breakfast in Paris) directs this movie that finds its hero forced to confront a variety of intimidating evildoers and overwhelming obstacles.
