Not the Messiah

“Spamalot” creators Eric Idle and John Du Prez penned this one-night-only musical tribute to Monty Python’s Life of Brian, an impertinent oratorio performed live at London’s Royal Albert Hall in 2009 and captured here in all its glory. With appearances by Michael Palin, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam, American tenor William Ferguson sings the role of Brian, supported by Canadian soprano Shannon Mercer and mezzo-soprano Rosalind Plowright.
