O Youth and Beauty!

Adapted from a short story by John Cheever, this Broadway Theatre Archive production stars Michael Murphy as Cash Bentley, a middle-aged suburbanite who attempts to recapture the glory of his track star days by hurdling furniture at parties. Kathryn Walker plays Bentley’s long-suffering wife, Louise, who’s grown weary of his tipsy antics and impending midlife crisis. Sigourney Weaver and Edward Herrmann co-star.
