On Each Side

The building of the Rosario-Victoria Bridge over Argentina’s Parana River is the link connecting this pastiche of vignettes that elapse over the course of the bridge’s construction. The stories include that of an old man (Héctor Bidonde) bedeviled by loud bulldozers; two sisters who develop crushes (Mónica Alfonso and Mónica Galán) on their new lodger; and a filmmaker (Miguel Franchi) hired to produce a documentary about the bridge project.
