An acid metaphor on the middle class. A middle class that is tumbling down, that is confronting debts that cannot pay, just like our country is. A middle class that does not trust institutions. A middle class conformed by desperate beings who are hardly able to shut themselves in their little lives, in an absurd world. Celina cannot stand the city any longer. She was born in a small town and moved to the great metropolis in search of fortune. Now she goes back to her home, after many years. Mauricio matzkin is a simple business man who takes care of his mother. Hugo, Celina’s brother, lives in the outskirts together with his father, his sick mother and now, Celina. Hugo owes money to the Matzkins and Mauricio tries to make him pay his debt. But Hugo hits him and kidnaps him, and he asks for a ransom. Being a prisoner, Mauricio gets acquainted with Celina in a way he has never been before… Who are the bad guys? Who are the good guys? –IMDb
