There were so many times that i wanted to sit down and watch Ordinary People, but I never had gotten around to it. It always seemed to be one of those movies that I think would fall short of its hype. But, I was wrong.

A true character piece, Ordinary People spends its time slowly peeling back each layer of every character until its audience sees and feels who they truly are. The characters are the saddest, and lonliest people that I have ever seen onscreen.
