The seemingly harmonious relationship between the prestigious Doctor, Sebastian and his Bulgarian cleaning lady, Jana, develops into a vicious power game, when her daughter Vera and Arthur, the doctor’s son, vanish without a trace. –TIFF
FNC '12 Excellent feature debut from Sylvie Michel-Casey that offers an universal story about parenting and finding the right balance of discipline and liberty in letting them mature. Two leads are both great here; Wolfram Koch as the self absored fertility doctor and Bettina Stucky as the immigrant cleaner. The way our children can send us into panic, anger, love (sometimes all at once) is well captured. Aces.
