This inspiring coming-of-age drama stars Scott Jacoby as David Wakefield, a high school athlete frustrated by failure. He can’t seem to crack his second-place streak in track meets — or muster up the courage to talk to his dream girl. But as the Vietnam War rages on, a personal tragedy may give David the push he needs to finally go for the gold — and the girl. Dennis Quaid co-stars in one of his first film roles.
