Following her release from prison near Paris, Lila travels to a small village to visit her sister. She meets Benoit, an ex-Parisian in his late thirties. They start a romance even though both are haunted by thoughts of their former partners. On day Lila leaves without warning and Benoits finds himself distraught over her absence.
