Following her release from prison near Paris, Lila travels to a small village to visit her sister. She meets Benoit, an ex-Parisian in his late thirties. They start a romance even though both are haunted by thoughts of their former partners. On day Lila leaves without warning and Benoits finds himself distraught over her absence. Subplot explores the activities of a batch of friends. Film about the differences between countrymen and landmen. —BFI
