Visually stunning. Another great story by the amazing Satoshi Kon.

To Christopher Nolan: this is how you make a movie about dreams, by letting the visuals play out the plot and not the incessant talking and explaining.

Truly, this is ones brain on anime. Really liked it and would've loved to put a 4/5, but it is after all a kid's film and it really does have some very silly stuff to it. Still I could probably see it again and I'd definitely recommend it. Regret not seeing it on the Göteborg Film Festival when it was on. :(

THIS FILM WAS AMAZING. Totally kicked Inception's ass. The soundtrack was pretty bad ass too. Another new favourite to add to the list I think.

Christopher Nolan MUST have seen this before making Inception. If not, I guess it just goes to show that great mind think alike. The only I think I wasn't fond of was the soundtrack.

I couldn't agree more... I am watching the movie right now, and I had to pause it because it suddenly dawned on me that Inception has basically the same plot - so I wanted to check if anyone shared this opinion... Well, I guess no one can beat the imagination one can find in anime :)

One of the most beautiful animated films I've ever seen. Beautiful and exhilarating.

A work of genius. Brilliantly surreal and bizarre. Satoshi Kon was a true original. His death was a tragic loss.

I highly enjoyed this surreal animation film. Although at times the dialogue got on my nerves and the plot became a little confusing. I really like the soundtrack and the colors.

The screenplay is a mess and the ending is lame. What an overrated movie. Good animation though.

A masterpiece of pure cinematic perfection. I really enjoyed this piece. Everything about it was stunning. The music, the animation, the voice acting, the story, character development, All of it was out of this world and surreal. I would love to see more films like this one, both animated and live action.

I remember being nervous at the beginning of the movie, Satoshi Kon wasn't exactly my favorite director, his Perfect Blue scared the hell out of me. Luckily, it seems he didn't put his entire madness to this piece; still feels creepy for me anyway.

I feel bad for mainly seeing this because of Kon's recent death, but the dvd cover always intrigued. I quite enjoyed this, splendid animation, fun story line that could almost go anywhere at anytime, and suck vivid imagination. I never really cared for anime but I might check out some more. Hated the music though.

Really like the idea of how the dream and reality melt togheter but some things such as the big ending battle with the giant paprika... I didn't like so much...
