Set during the preparations of the year 2000 celebration, Paria is the story of Victor, eighteen. Working as delivery-boy for a video-club, he has just fallen in love with Anabelle when his motorbike is stolen, and he is thrown out of his room for not having paid his rent for three months.Victor roams in Paris and meets Momo, twenty-five years old, homeless, a crafty guy who has got himself a paper mariage. Born 1954 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. He has made numerous portrait films about musicians, among others Ravi Shankar. In 1995, he started a theatre company together with the screenwriter Elisabeth Perceval.
