sad to know that Chaplin's last short film.

While its strongest moments are in the beginning the film is a pretty good and to-the-point short by Chaplin.

Another film where they play the stereotypes of overbearing wives (so overdone!)

Fun early short from Chaplin. Some great site gags especially the lift and the streetcar.

The gag with the lift can be seen in M. Hulot's Holiday in a different form: this time with a paint can and the sea.

His brick-catching skills are truly fascinating.
