Synopsis

Rihana, a young woman who is born and raised in the countryside, finds herself in a psychiatric hospital after suffering a traumatic experience. She is convinced that she has fallen pregnant by a young man from her village called Zayd. Rihana also believes her pregnancy has been blessed by the “Lord of the Horse”, a revered spirit in the fairytale stories recounted to her by her father. Zineb, the psychiatrist handling Rihana’s case, is tasked with unravelling the mystery behind Rihana’s strange behaviour. She is unable to determine if Rihana is making up stories, or if she has steeped herself in an imaginary world in which she can take refuge. In her attempts to uncover the truth about Rihana’s painful past, Zineb becomes embroiled in a situation that spirals out of control. —pegase-lefilm
