Playing God

Dr. Eugene Sands (David Duchovny) was a surgeon — until drugs caused him to lose his medical license. Now, a man has been shot at a nightclub, and Sands (who happens to be there) saves his life — in front of infamous criminal Raymond Blossom (Timothy Hutton). Impressed, Blossom offers Sands employment, which Sands accepts. It’s not long, however, before Sands witnesses something he shouldn’t and is struggling to save his own life.
