Prince Charming

Raimundo is a hitman who’s suffering from an incurable lung disease. Grace is a prostitute who’s fled to the big city to get away from the constant harassment of her son’s father. Raimundo is from Juazeiro do Norte, in Ceará, Brazil. Grace is from Juazeiro da Bahia. As well as coming from towns with the same name, the two share a lack of perspective, a sense of loneliness and of abandonment. Their paths cross when Raimundo is hired to kill Grace and, for the first time in his life, finds it difficult to “take care” of someone. —33ª Mostra Internacional de Cinema
