This awkward tragicomedy has more than enough to make it a failure: suspicious pseudo-science, daring imaginings of post-soviet mafia, some ridiculously eloquent characters and fake accent althrough, yet surprisingly it works somehow, managing to be both entertaining and poetically meaningful at times.
