Tense shades of character myopia mingles a bit in the rooms of Michael Clayton, The Insider and Erin Brokovich but not without buoyancy. Specificity lives in the lines between the lines so often muddied these days in the dreaming and dying of overrated landscape epics. Slow to start but keeps scenes well lit and charismatic cast reminds us what our middle aged heroes used to do before all the zeroes on their checks.
A little bit too flashy, but good nonetheless. This is what THE LINCOLN LAWYER should've been.
