Synopsis

To the dismay of his mother, Nancy (Wendie Malick), whiz kid Hal Nestor (Justin Long) locks himself in the bathroom to complete math equations and secretly ogle his cheerleader neighbor, Lacy (Danica McKellar), in this black comedy from co-directors Linda Voorhees and Bess Wiley. A battle of wills ensues with Nancy determined to lure her son out for a valedictory speech and Hal equally determined to stay in the can.
