I cannot recommend this movie enough. Not only is it one of the best movies from perhaps the best year for film in my lifetime (1999) and not only is it one of the best films in Criterion’s vastly impressive catalog of releases but it’s FREE to watch on The Auteurs right now. Well worth the no-price!
The film is stunning to watch on a larger TV (it’s truly one of the most gorgeously photographed films I’ve seen and I wish I saw it theatrically) but I’m on board with any means that exposes people to Ramsay’s great great film.
