Ravagers

Another in the flood of post-nuclear films in which the survivors are left to fight starvation and fend off unruly bands of violent thugs. In this one, Harris lives in a deserted steel mill with his wife Hamilton, who is raped and killed by a gang of lawless motorcycle hoods led by James. Harris sets out to find revenge (in a plot vaguely similar to Mad Max), kills one of the hoods, and heads on down the road. He comes across Carney at an abandoned missile base stocked with food and machine guns. The two leave the cozy base to meet with another group of people who live in a cave. They pick up the sexy Turkel and start off down the road again. This time James’s gang attacks them and they fight the hoods off with their machine gun, but Carney is captured. Eventually the other two come to a ship that is doing pretty well under the leadership of Borgnine. But James attacks and blows the ship up. —TVguide.com
