Filmed live during two concerts at Madison Square Garden, this stand-up comedy classic showcases Eddie Murphy in a series of uproarious celebrity impressions, observations about the 1980s, remembrances of his childhood and much more. Directed by filmmaker Robert Townsend (Hollywood Shuffle), this feature-length release proves that Murphy’s talents are on par with comedic legends like Richard Pryor and George Carlin.
One of the best stand-up sets that anybody has ever done. Even if it's not to your specific tastes, which I can totally understand, nobody can deny that it is super important and influential to modern American stand-up comedy.
