Rebel

While recuperating from battle wounds in World War II Australia, U.S. Marine Rebel (Matt Dillon) secretly plots to go AWOL and flee the country. But his plan hits a snag when he unexpectedly falls in love with married nightclub singer Kathy (Debra Byrne). Waiting patiently for her husband to return from combat, Kathy wants nothing to do with Rebel at first, but in time grows to care for the disaffected soldier.
