Couldent agree with you more...but when you climax its your heart coming out of your mouth xD
Interesting only because it indicates how films are increasingly taking on the qualities of a theme park ride. Plus, the reporter girl's quite cute.
o mais interessantes dessa leva de "terror-handycam". momentos de tensão, ritmo bom, curti.
Holy crap, I saw this in the movies in Spain when it came out. Christ I left my heart back there at the end of the movie, I HATE spanish movies one out of 20 are good, this was one of those few. I really liked it, and I didnt sleep the next two nights. Then as always and american dir has to say, hey you know what, lets make the same movie, sound familiar? Grunge, Shutter, REC, Mean Machine, the eye and so forth.
If the shaky, blurry camerawork doesn't make you nauseous, the excessive screaming will. How did this become popular again?
because bloody, fat bitches in pink dresses barreling down the hall at you are no joke
Surprisingly well-made and brilliantly executed horror flick that is only truly terrifying in its final moments. There's lots to be admired, though.
This was an absolute blast. Short but very sweet. Felt just like walking/running through a "house of horrors" style amusement park attraction. Some great handheld camera work really made you feel like you were there with the characters through every abrupt twist and turn. Scary, fun and very well done. Also perfect for viewing during the eventful horror-filled month of Shocktober.
[REC] can only be defined as outstanding. The pacing of the film easily shifts gears without throwing off the viewers, going from a surprise scare to a slow, creeping dread. Balaguero and Plaza craftily retain a level of claustrophobia and isolation as well, making the scares more satisfying than ever before. And all this whilst placing viewers at the front row seat for the horror to unfold before their eyes.
This and REC 2 are the best hand held camera horror movies I have seen so far
quiet at first, chaotic 10 minutes later. the way that this film was shot is the thing that scared me the most. it was very realistic and the night vision/bright lamp thing was very terrifying. its not your usual quarantined/illness movie, the ending is sort of a big twist to the whole film. one of the scariest movies Ive ever seen, fast paced, and absolutley perfect for hiding behind a pillow. this was it.
Compared with "Quarantine" the American version, this film from Spain is really the best. Not just because of the end but the suspense and screams are more intense.
Didn't stir a single shiver in me until its third act. The attic scene is terrifying. The rest of the film is kind of cliche and even worse, the home videoness of it didn't push it forward, just gave me a headache. I wasn't too impressed but didn't hate it.
Brilliant film. Posessed young childrenin films are always scary. Some genuine shock moments in there.
It's rare I see a horror that genuinely scares me. The night vision stuff really scared me. The last scene particularly scared me. a lot. I think I watched some SpongeBob after to calm down. I'm 28!
Oh my, this was a bit good! I had sort of high expectations for this one, due to the wealth of quality horror coming out of Spain at the moment but I wasn't prepared for how good this actually is. It's got an interesting build-up, leading to a real Zombie fest before the last five minutes, which were sublime and rather excellently done. This is an absolute MUST-SEE!
Scary, fun and sometimes funny (but you have to know your zombie films to appreciate the inside jokes). I didn't buy the ending because it was a bit of a stretch. Narrative-wise it was still interesting. Loved the "behind-the-scenes" video that showed the filmmakers' process. Excellent zombie flick.
Nice refreshing take on the standard Zombie theme movies, took a foreign movie to take it in a new direction from the standard Stateside fare. Tight plot, pacing and atmosphere, translate into a edge of the seat, sweaty, panic ride. Looking forward to checking out the sequel.
It's fresh, original&terrifying, thats why they make a shitty, added effects& unnecessary scenes&dialogue;'americanized' version out of this. Its fast pacing, effective shots&scenes, blair-witch-like, zombie movie.
