The "transformation" of a gangster icon is documented as Snoop Dog becomes Snoop Lion. What could easily amount to a hollow marketing ploy is tested by Rasta legends at Tuff Gong who are curious about the sincerity of the transition. What proves to be most interesting about the film is Snoop's apparent vulnerability coupled with his desire to replace his violent history in gangster rap with a more peaceful message.
