Interesting though a tinge familiar sci-fi noir plot is both enhanced and inhibited by the visual design of the animation. It can be difficult to follow at times and take your attention way from the plot.

Sure, I'd love a better script and dialogue, but I really like this movie's rockin' animation and a few unexpected plot twists (once I figured out what was going on). It was overlong, but I never tired of the stunning CG animation/motion capture. Things like reflections on glass, movement within a body of water, and gradations of skin color pigmentation were very lifelike.
