Tarantino's first film pointed out a lot of his style that I hadn't noticed before(homoerotic relationships, casual conversation preceding and/or succeeding violence). Additionally, the performance by Keitel was superb. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, and I can see where it comes from and where it eventually goes.

You either know that Reservoir Dogs is a masterpiece or you haven't realized it yet. Nothing Tarantino has done so far in his career has shocked me, disturbed me, or moved me as much as Reservoir Dogs did. The dialogue is razor sharp and the tension is as thick as it comes. The acting across the board is brilliant - Tim Roth is the standout. I don't think Tarantino will ever make a better film?

Pedestrian, adolescent, gimmicky and most of all, boring. People who worship this film need to snap out of it and go watch something real: Sunrise or Late Spring? If you want a heist movie, maybe Rififi? that film had characters. When they get killed you notice. Reservoir Dogs just felt like a student project in vulgarity with an unnecessarily obtuse narrative structure. A good student project, but no more.

Most fun of all Tarantino movies. No need to discuss the great lines and cinematography. Harvey Keitel and Buscemi are simply great in this film.

After seeing Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basters I didn't think I'd ever understand why Tarantino is so celebrated by the film community, hence I approached Reservoir with "meh" expectations. Reservoir Dogs absolutely blew me away with its unrelenting violence, sharp script, crazy turns and clever storytelling. I think I'll give Fiction and Basterds another shot.

A story about telling stories and a masterpiece at that. Tarantino would be one of the best directors alive if he wasn't such a pretentious douche.
