Resurrecting the Champ

When ambitious sports reporter Erik (Josh Hartnett) discovers that a local homeless man named Champ (Samuel L. Jackson) was once a famous boxer who’s long been presumed dead, he digs deeper into the story and becomes friends with the down-and-out star. But when Erik uncovers several disturbing questions about Champ’s background, his findings prompt the reporter to reexamine his own relationships with his father and his son.
