Um filme com elementos básicos do estilo do Guy Ritchie, mas bem mais difícil de entender. Prefiro o restante da filmografia.
I think changes to the cast could have improved this film greatly. Also changes to the script as well. Most of Andre 3000s lines felt gaudy and forced. Eh.
Though the film does lack in cinematography and is predictable, the concept itself is very interesting. I do feel however, that Guy Ritchie & Luc Besson could have expanded on it further. The fact that they didn't explore this idea of the ego hiding in our own minds and creation non-existent enemies further is quite annoying.
i don’t quite understand why many people hates this. sure, it’s a bit pretentious, but it’s not bad at all. just check the witty dialogs, the magnificent editing, the fabolous directing, the ambitious theme; which is about ego, and the hip scoring. well at least, give guy ritchie some props for his bravery at making a gangster flick in an experimental approach.
Though there was a lot of meaningless dialog on the part of Andre Benjamin, I actually liked this movie. I'm not a big fan of Statham or Liotta, but they gave pretty good performances, particularly in the blue elevator scene and Liotta's little part after that.
I have long waited for this to be added to the database so I may vent my extreme displeasure...
