In regard to “Roger & Me” and “The Big One,” these two films represent a different time in Michael Moore’s career, before he trekked into more questionable grounds for the sake of controversy (it puts asses in the seats.) While facing our current economic environment which was raped by the people whose actions he tried so desperately to make us aware of, I have a hard time not respecting him to a certain degree. Political ideology’s aside, we are all fighting a common battle against an entire industry which is currently taking advantage of us and laughing behind closed doors. As of right now, we’re losing that battle (badly I might add.)

I take to heart Washington and Hamilton’s lesson at Valley Forge: Outsource your manufactured goods and you will be without coats, shoes, and weapons. We need all those.

But hey, outsourcing isn’t all bad. It provides American’s with cheaper goods. After all, borderline slaves work for much cheaper.

P.S. The picture used for this movies page is fucking awesome.
