Pull up your tube socks for this coming-of-age comedy centered on 1970s roller-skate jams. A boy known as “X” (Bow Wow) dominates the local roller rink with his friends. But when the crew’s home base goes out of business, they have to look for another hangout. At the Sweetwater Roller Rink across town, the friends are blown away by the skaters and pretty girls they meet, and they pick up a few new tricks.
