Actually an incredible piece of filmmaking. The stories are well-written and beautiful. But somehow I feel that the filmmakers are not too different from the gringos in the film. They are portrayed as ignorant by their dismissal of the indigenous as savages, but the film suffers from bouts of indigenism that seem egregious since they are not interested in real equality apart from telling heart-wrenching stories.
