Synopsis

Set during the early 19th century when Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein, Rowing with the Wind details the relationship between Lord Byron (Hugh Grant), Percy (Valentine Pelka) and Mary Shelley (Lizzy McInnerny) as they voyage through various European countries.Their trip includes a stop at Lake Geneva, where Byron makes his historical proposition that Mary and her cousin Claire (Elizabeth Hurley) each concoct a horror story.

This movie it's so bad it's good. If you watch the Spanish version it's hilarious - Hugh Grant speaking Spanish with someone else's voice! Shelley talking to "Señor Godwin"! "Tus caricias me dan frío"!
