In hindsight, this short music video by Chris Cunningham, infamous for his Come To Daddy video for Aphex Twin, is not as good as some of his other work (Monkey Drummer is far more better in terms of its titular image). As music videos go though, this is still hypnotic and grotesquely whimsical, standing out on top of hundreds of forgettable ones.

One of the best things I have ever seen. The music was great as were the visuals. The dog was adorable with its big-ass head and it's frightened-looking eyes. And Johnny's insane, rubber-like movements were kinda funny.

I found a copy of Rubber Johnny and accompanied picture book and, I gotta tell ya, he seems like one deranged individual. Deranged in the best of ways. I love his music videos.
