Not as complex as my ten years ago memory of it recalled, but that's not a bad thing. This is a little gem of a movie which tells its tale with economy and verve.

Innovative, stunning, exhilarating. Frenetic pace with subtle moments, and a concept that really satisfies. The music will have you boppin' in your chair. Franke Potente is exceptional in this. Whatever you do, don't watch it in anything but the native language (German).

a truly great film. from the manner in which it follows a european tradition aesthetically, the cause and effect theme, the references to 'vertigo' and the running subtext of the search for identity, this film is a masterpiece and THE 90s film.

Watching this movie is like watching a music video clip. A very unique movie with simple story but still manages to look awesome.

Amazingly watchable. Essentialy 81 minutes of lola runing but it is a testament to the director and cast that it NEVER gets even the least bit boring. A must see.

An hour and a half long music video essentially. I say that as if its a bad thing but I really don't. Damn enjoyable watch regardless of its flaws.

One of the few movies that I've purchase sight unseen and was tremendously rewarded. Defines kinetic cinema and easily transcends its "foreign film" stigma for mainstream audiences.

*big german kiss* the soundtrack was awesome-- totally fit the pace and mood of the film, and such a good collaboration of german dance music. cheers to german cinema.
