Sent to prison for a murder he didn’t commit, John Brant (John Wayne) escapes from jail and lays low with a gang of outlaws, only to unwittingly befriend the real killer, a gunslinger by the name of Jones (Lane Chandler). But if he hopes to prove his innocence — and stay alive — Brant will have to continue to convince Jones that he’s an honest-to-goodness desperado. Armand Schaefer directs.
