This dramedy from Mexico follows the odyssey of Esperanza Diaz (Dolores Heredia). Widowed, Esperanza also loses her 12-year-old daughter, Blanca, to a rare virus. But when a vision of St. Jude tells her that Blanca is still alive, Esperanza sets out to find her. She delves into the world of prostitution — but unexpectedly finds true love along the way.
