Primarily a spoof of the Friday the 13th series, but also takes shots at several other horror films. After his family moves to a new house, a young boy discovers a mysterious book describing the curse hanging over the date of Saturday the 14th. Opening the book releases a band of monsters into the house, and the family must join together to save themselves and their neighborhood. –IMDb
This silly little horror parody flick gets an extra nostalgic star from me for the times that I attempted to explain the plot and strange occurrences in the film to my friends during bus rides to and from kindergarten class (I was a weird kid). PG fare like 14th and the legendary Hilarious House Of Frightenstein TV show planted the seeds that would help me to bloom into the proud horror/gore-hound that I am today.
