Primarily a spoof of the Friday the 13th series, but also takes shots at several other horror films. After his family moves to a new house, a young boy discovers a mysterious book describing the curse hanging over the date of Saturday the 14th. This silly little horror parody flick gets an extra nostalgic star from me for the times that I attempted to explain the plot and strange occurrences in the film to my friends during bus rides to and from kindergarten class (I was a weird kid). PG fare like 14th and the legendary Hilarious House Of Frightenstein TV show planted the seeds that would help me to bloom into the proud horror/gore-hound that I am today.
