Lithuanian farmers have an old tradition to set up scarecrows in their fields and orchards to keep away birds and animals. Dressed in worn-out clothes and decorated with different household utensils, scarecrows guard their lands. —Scanorama
Rimantas Gruodis born in Šiauliai, Lithuania, May 14, 1946. He graduated from Vilnius University. 1964-1990 worked in Lithuanian Film Studio as a camera assistant, director assistant on feature films, editor, script and director newsreels and documentaries.
