SCREAM is a movie unfairly dismissed by cinephiles not because of the movie, but because of what it wrought in the nineties. SCREAM is, in fact, an extremely original and interesting film, especially coming out when it did, and it took the genre in a new direction, sadly it also meant getting hammered with sequels and bad imitations. The overall rating it has on here is unfair, people seem to be panning it for all the wrong reasons.
