I'm a big Woody fan, but I'm also very critical of his films. I though this was great.

Not his best. Characters felt flat.

As much as i respect Woody Allen, I just cannot enjoy this film. Bland is the best description for September, I think Woody Allen struggled with this film, He reshot the film with a whole new cast. The conecpt of staying in one house and replicating a stage play is good but it was not executed very well. Still with the fequent pace Woody made his films its understandable to make a mistake every once in a while.

One of Allen's very very worst films, and that's really saying something. Painful. The cast does its very best, but they can't escape the banality of the dialogue and the essenital whiniess of the characters.
