Le sexe… et après ? – 29/04/2009
Lucia et le sexe n’est pas un film inintéressant, au contraire. Quelques scènes torrides, un fond psychanalytique, une réalisation délicieusement surexposée, une belle actrice… sont quelques-uns des éléments qui nous accrochent. Mais c’est cette histoire d’amour alambiquée – et peu crédible tant elle devient alambiquée – qui plombe l’ensemble. Novateur par certains aspects, terriblement rétrograde dans son histoire : le film intrigue, mais à du mal à nous embarquer, par sa longueur et son côté confus, ses excès et sa démesure de symboles faussement complexes.

I’m genuinely surprised as to how well this turned out. At the first all the quick editing bothered me and the camera angles seemed to be overdone, and then all the sex scenes made me think this would be something superficial, but as the plot intensified and intertwined the way it did, I realized how well put together the film was. At first I saw it as glorified soft-core porn, it escalated and really caught me off guard. I sincerely enjoyed this.
